Winter birding is starting to wind down now that we are in March. Our final winter birding trip to the CBBT Island 4 on March 1 showed that a lot of birds are moving in the mouth of the Bay and Atlantic Ocean, getting ready for Spring migration. Large flocks of black scoters and surf scoters, a constant stream of gannets and razorbills, and plenty of American Herring Gulls.
